IT Audit & Compliance Developer (SQL)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid working model with onsite and offsite work

What you will do

• Assess existing IT systems and processes against IT General Controls.
• Analyse technological requirements and advise on customised IT solutions, infrastructure, network architecture, and cybersecurity measures.
• Identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies while optimising system efficiency and performance.
• Build a stronger IT internal control framework using custom SQL queries.
• Document IT systems and procedures, create standard operating procedures, and maintain corrective-action records.
• Support auditors with data extractions, evidence collection, action plans, and follow-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an IT consultant, preferably in a technology-based firm.
• Experience in SQL development or programming.
• Proficiency with programming languages, database management software, and operating systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, fact-finding, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hana Studio, data analytics compliance tools, or SAP BIS.
