Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Hybrid work model with time split between the Lisbon office and remote work.

Salary: €36,975–€50,025 per year.

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and assess cyber threat intelligence from OSINT, commercial feeds, government sources, and internal telemetry.
• Profile threat actors, capabilities, infrastructure, campaigns, and emerging threats targeting healthcare and biotechnology.
• Produce actionable intelligence reports, threat advisories, and strategic briefings for technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Correlate threat intelligence with internal events to support investigations, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Collaborate with SOC and engineering teams to improve detection rules and defensive mechanisms.
• Maintain threat intelligence platforms and feed integrations, and contribute to purple team and threat emulation exercises.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Intelligence Studies, or a related field; or a bachelor’s degree with at least one year of relevant experience; or a diploma with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape, MITRE ATT&CK, adversary tactics, and threat actor methodologies.
• Experience with OSINT, dark web monitoring, threat reports, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Ability to write concise threat intelligence reports for different audiences.
• Knowledge of the cyber kill chain, diamond model, and intelligence lifecycle.
• Basic scripting skills in Python and PowerShell for intelligence enrichment and automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology threat landscapes.
• Knowledge of STIX/TAXII and experience with threat intelligence platforms such as MISP, Anomali, or ThreatConnect.
• Understanding of malware families and APT group behavior.
• Relevant certifications such as GCTI, CTIA, CySA+, or CISSP.
• Experience briefing senior leadership on strategic and operational threats.
