Security Risk Officer (Obsolescence / Vulnerabilities)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal, with attendance required twice a week. Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Assess technology infrastructure, security principles, and technology risks.
• Identify and evaluate obsolescence and vulnerability risks.
• Prepare risk reporting and perform data analysis using Power BI and Excel.
• Apply regulatory frameworks and industry standards to technology risk activities.
• Communicate risk findings and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Four years of experience as a Technology Risk Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, security principles, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher and eligibility to work in Portugal are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL.
• ISO 27001, ISO 27005, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certification.
• Experience with Splunk for security monitoring.
