Associate Manfacturing

Location: Thousand Oaks, California, United States; onsite manufacturing role with availability for day, swing, graveyard, weekend, holiday, 5x8-hour, 4x10-hour, and 3- or 4x12-hour shifts according to the production schedule.

What you will do

• Set up, clean, sanitize, and operate manufacturing equipment in a drug substance production environment.
• Prepare buffers and media according to manufacturing procedures and standard operating procedures.
• Perform and monitor critical processes, conduct basic troubleshooting, and collect in-process samples.
• Operate analytical equipment and clean small- and large-scale production equipment.
• Follow GMP documentation, initiate quality deviation records, and assist with batch record reviews.
• Draft and revise SOPs and manufacturing procedures while identifying improvements to routine operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED plus 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience; or an associate degree plus 6 months of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom while wearing full gowning, a hairnet, gloves, and steel-toe shoes.
• Ability to perform rigorous, repetitive work and work around high-pressure systems and occasional heavy equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures, documents, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Ability to troubleshoot, multitask, take initiative, and collaborate effectively in a team.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or life sciences.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with scientific, engineering, or laboratory analysis.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and follow detailed protocols.
