What you will do
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in Java backend applications.
- Write and maintain AWS Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi and TypeScript.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to infrastructure and backend development.
- Support the database modernization from SQL Server to AWS Aurora.
- Create and run load-testing scripts for the new AWS Aurora database.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes environments and handle reactive platform tickets.
Requirements
- Strong Java and software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming patterns.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Professional experience with Pulumi and TypeScript for Infrastructure as Code.
- Terraform experience is acceptable if combined with strong software engineering skills and the ability to learn Pulumi and TypeScript.
- Curiosity, proactive problem-solving, and a self-serve approach to investigating root causes.
