VP Payroll & Benefits (Services & Operations)

Location: United States; remote role with a hybrid working model for Bobbers in the NY metro area

Salary: $230,000–$290,000 per year, plus variable compensation

What you will do

• Define and lead the payroll services and operations strategy across the US and UK.
• Build a repeatable US payroll services model supporting growth from SMB to mid-market.
• Scale UK payroll services for increasing customer complexity.
• Lead payroll implementation and service delivery, improving quality, speed, predictability, and customer experience.
• Partner with Product, Payroll, Customer Success, Sales, Engineering, and Operations to address gaps and improve retention and expansion.
• Lead a high-performing payroll services organization and own services revenue and P&L.

Requirements

• Strong US payroll experience.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing payroll services or operations in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience scaling payroll services or operations in a high-growth or evolving business.
• Track record of improving implementation quality, speed, predictability, and customer outcomes.
• Commercial experience influencing revenue, P&L, and overall business performance.
• Experience using AI, automation, or innovative operating approaches to improve scale and execution.
