Software Engineering Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Design, prototype, test, and deploy AI-powered digital applications for Environmental, Health and Safety use cases.
• Integrate generative AI capabilities, including large language models, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Clean and integrate EHS data from multiple sources and develop trusted data products, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI.
• Work with EHS specialists and business stakeholders to translate workflows and pain points into practical prototypes.
• Support adoption through demonstrations, training, user guides, technical documentation, and usage tracking.
• Apply software engineering practices including version control, testing, and API and database integration.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Programming experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with web applications, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Practical exposure to generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, machine learning fundamentals, and RAG or embeddings-based retrieval.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and document work clearly.
