Senior Manager Energy & Industry (Energy & Utilities)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work is available from home, client locations, or the Amsterdam office.

What you will do

• Guide energy and utilities companies through the transition to the New Energy Reality.
• Lead consulting projects covering market entry, operational process improvement, investment decisions, regulatory compliance, outsourcing, and vendor selection.
• Ensure projects are delivered beyond expectations with support from consultants and client representatives.
• Coach and mentor consultants and manage project teams.
• Contribute to business development, sales support, and the growth of hirify.global’s energy offering.
• Monitor energy-market developments and adapt consulting offerings accordingly.

Requirements

• Master’s degree.
• At least 8 years of consulting experience in the utilities industry.
• Business network within relevant energy companies and a strong understanding of energy-market developments.
• Interest in data and AI-related topics, with the ability to build expertise quickly.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch are required.
• Experience managing teams, with a self-starting, entrepreneurial, and flexible approach.

Nice to have

• Fluent German.
