Global Employee Relations Investigator

Location: Sant Cugat del Valles, Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work with a minimum of three days per week from the designated hirify.global office

What you will do

• Lead medium- to high-complexity employee relations investigations and ensure timely case closure.
• Develop disciplinary recommendations, risk assessments, reporting, and related policies and documentation.
• Provide expert consultation on performance management, employee relations escalations, employment law, and compliance.
• Develop and deliver communications and training on talent management, diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, workplace conduct, and employee relations practices.
• Collaborate with HR, managers, employment law, integrity councils, and employee representative groups.
• Represent the organization in tribunal and mediation matters.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience in Employee Relations, HR generalist work, HR compliance, Labor Relations, Employment and Labor Law, or a related field.
• Experience with complex investigations, case management, performance management, and compliance guidance.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, investigative mindset, empathy, confidence, and digital fluency.
• Ability to work from the designated hirify.global office in Spain at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
• Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification.
