Global Compensation & Benefits Manager

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with a home-office-friendly setup and regular access to the central Madrid office

What you will do

• Own and evolve the global compensation and benefits strategy across teams in more than 35 countries.
• Develop and govern scalable salary structures, organizational structures, job architecture, job mapping, leveling, and career progression frameworks.
• Design and implement performance, rewards, incentives, promotions, merit increase, salary review, and stock option programs.
• Lead compensation and benefits benchmarking, market intelligence, and expansion-related compensation analysis.
• Advise senior leadership and People teams on complex compensation decisions, internal equity, fairness, and market competitiveness.
• Establish dashboards, metrics, reporting, and program evaluations while managing external compensation providers.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, including ownership or leadership of global programs and teams.
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, salary structures, job architecture, benchmarking, performance and reward programs, and benefits.
• Experience designing and implementing compensation frameworks and processes, supported by advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic, project management, business acumen, and senior stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Fluent English at C1 level or above, with the ability to work across cultures, functions, and geographies.

• Postgraduate qualification or certification in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, or People Analytics.
