PRL & HR Operations Manager (Space)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; based in Barcelona with the right to work in Spain; on-site / hybrid work required

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based satellite company developing a satellite constellation that enables standard commercial devices to communicate directly from space.

What you will do

• Build and execute the occupational health and safety system across offices, laboratories, and hardware-integration environments.
• Conduct risk assessments, preventive planning, and follow-up, personally covering Safety and Occupational Hygiene.
• Govern the external prevention service and establish criteria for health surveillance and related activities.
• Lead a team of 3–4 specialists responsible for labour administration, contracts, payroll, international mobility, and visas.
• Act as the operational reference for day-to-day labour and legal matters, escalating complex issues to specialist counsel.
• Ensure quality and compliance across administrative processes in collaboration with Talent, Finance, and technical teams.

Requirements

• Técnico Superior en PRL with Safety and Occupational Hygiene specialisms.
• 5–6 years of PRL experience in industrial or factory environments such as automotive, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
• Experience leading or coordinating an HR administration team, or owning PRL within a People function with exposure to payroll, contracting, and mobility.
• Operational knowledge of labour matters, payroll, contract types, and visas.
• Native or professional Spanish and working English required.
• Right to work in Spain and availability for on-site / hybrid work in Barcelona required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a technology or deep-tech scale-up or fast-growth environment.
• Exposure to regulated, classified, or defence environments.
• A third PRL specialism or experience with Equality Plans.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll tools such as Personio or PayFit.
