Data Architect

What you will do

• Lead client engagements and co-design data engineering solutions with stakeholders.
• Build scalable data pipelines and architectures for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Design cloud and distributed data solutions using platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure, with frameworks including Spark and Kafka.
• Develop data models and optimize relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph database solutions.
• Implement batch, streaming, real-time integration, CI/CD, and DataOps practices.
• Develop internal data engineering offerings, support business development, and mentor junior and medior consultants.

Requirements

• Completed WO Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent academic research.
• Proven interest and experience in data engineering, with strong analytical and systematic problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, mentoring, adaptability, and entrepreneurial skills.
• Fluency in Dutch with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Work authorization is required; work permit sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Fluency in German or French.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, Spark, or Kafka.
• Interest in data and AI-related topics.
