Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with in-person commuting to the designated location required

Salary: $21.20–$23.10 per hour

What you will do

  • Support electric distribution system analysis and feeder performance evaluations.
  • Review outage data and reliability metrics, including SAIDI, SAIFI, and CAIDI, to identify trends.
  • Analyze power quality measurements such as voltage, current, flicker, and harmonics.
  • Support project planning, capital project tracking, documentation, and execution submittals.
  • Apply electric standards, construction practices, and engineering guidelines.
  • Prepare technical summaries, reports, and presentations while collaborating with engineers, project managers, planners, designers, and operations personnel.

Requirements

  • Current sophomore-level student or higher as of Fall 2027.
  • Enrollment in an ABET-accredited college or university and pursuit of an engineering degree; electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer and up to 20 hours per week during the school year.
  • Ability to commute to the designated Denver work location in person under the hybrid work policy.
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts, including three-phase power systems and circuit analysis.

Nice to have

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Strong interest in electric power systems and utility operations.
  • Experience using AI and digital productivity tools for data analysis, technical documentation, and problem-solving.
