Test Infrastructure Engineer (React Native)

What you will do

• Bring end-to-end test authoring and maintenance in-house, auditing the existing Appium suite and deciding which coverage to migrate or retire.
• Select and defend the future mobile testing framework, considering Detox, Maestro, Appium, or another suitable solution.
• Migrate critical coverage without reducing test coverage during the transition.
• Build a test platform across web and mobile, including device and emulator strategies, fixtures, factories, seeded test data, and preview environments.
• Implement parallelisation, sharding, retries, and reporting that makes failed builds actionable within minutes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience, including substantial work in test automation, developer tooling, or platform engineering.
• Experience owning a mobile test suite in CI and understanding the performance and reliability challenges of mobile end-to-end testing.
• Experience inheriting or migrating a test suite, preferably from a framework selected by someone else.
• Comfort working across React, React Native, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Based within European time zones, with hybrid work available from the Copenhagen or London offices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Detox, Maestro, or Appium for React Native.
• Experience with Playwright or a comparable modern web end-to-end framework.
• Experience with device farms and mobile CI at scale.
• Experience testing time, timezone, and recurring-schedule domain logic.
• Experience with contract testing, synthetic monitoring, or production load and performance testing.
