TL;DR
MES Business Analyst (Manufacturing): Designing and documenting business processes, user stories, integrations, and reporting capabilities for an enterprise recipe management initiative with an accent on pharmaceutical manufacturing, MES product recipe design, and GxP-compliant data interoperability. Focus on assessing business opportunities, translating stakeholder needs into functional specifications, aligning business and technical teams, and identifying Generative AI/ML use cases.
Location: Poland — fully remote; availability required from 3–7 PM CET for overlap with EU and US teams.

What you will do
- Interview business stakeholders, partner-system owners, and domain leads to identify opportunities and assess their value, size, and dependencies.
- Design and document business process flows and user stories for Emerson PKM, MES, LIMS, ERP, PLM, and reporting integrations.
- Create functional specifications, architecture decision records, and technical documentation for PKM configurations, integrations, and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams on processes, data flows, system capabilities, and architecture.
- Identify Generative AI/ML use cases in pharmaceutical manufacturing and support their implementation.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience as a Functional Architect, Business Analyst, or Consultant in pharmaceutical or Life Sciences environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on understanding of MES product recipe design and parameter definition.
- Experience with system integration projects involving DeltaV, SAP S/4HANA, ELN, MES, ERP, LIMS, PLM, or related systems.
- Strong analytical, requirements engineering, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent English and availability between 3–7 PM CET are required.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ISA-95, ISA-88, SAFe Agile, data interoperability, reporting standards, and business process mapping.
- Previous Roche experience or experience in similarly complex regulated environments.
- Understanding of SQL databases, relational data structures, and reporting systems.
