Junior Quality Assurance Engineer (Selenium/Playwright)

Location: Mississauga, Canada; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: CAD 57,000–61,000 annually

What you will do

• Execute manual and automated test cases based on defined test plans.
• Support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing activities.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and contribute to the automation test suite.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and validate features.
• Maintain test cases and test data, and provide status updates.

Requirements

• Postsecondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of quality assurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases such as Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter, Selenium or Playwright, and REST API testing using Postman or Bruno.
• Basic understanding of Core Java 17 or later, Spring Boot, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts using DevOps tools.
