What you will do

• Develop and optimize high-throughput data and calculation engines that generate risk metrics.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, cloud-first platform architecture.
• Build risk workflows for market-scenario analysis, counterparty evaluation, credit ratings, and risk appetite management.
• Write clean production code and deliver complex platform improvements using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Apply software development lifecycle practices, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with quantitative engineers, technical leaders, and product managers.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of software development experience with a strong understanding of software design and core programming concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM discipline.
• Programming experience in at least one imperative language, such as Java, C, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and high-availability patterns.
• Experience implementing or integrating AI-enabled tools, platforms, or automated solutions.
• Financial services experience with knowledge of risk or risk-engineering systems.
