AI Engineer

Salary: €2,800–€5,600 gross per month, with flexibility based on skills and competencies

What you will do

• Maintain and optimize AI services with strong observability and reliability.
• Design and implement internal AI services that improve developer productivity.
• Own service lifecycles end to end, including resources, Docker containers, CI/CD deployments, and production operations.
• Collaborate with engineering squads to identify bottlenecks and build tailored AI-based solutions.
• Upgrade incident context gathering to identify the correct on-call rotation.
• Develop automations and plugins for Spotify Backstage to improve internal documentation.

Requirements

• Production coding experience with Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with AI integrations, APIs, prompt engineering, and hybrid deterministic/AI logic.
• Ability to independently own services, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing observability with metrics, logging, and SLIs.
• Pragmatic, proactive approach and ability to work directly with developers while adapting to changing AI tooling.
