AI Engineer

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania (hybrid). This role is open only to candidates with Lithuanian citizenship or a valid work permit in Lithuania. Remote work outside Lithuania is not available, and relocation from outside Lithuania cannot be offered.

Gross salary: €2,925–€7,000 per month, based on competence and experience.

What you will do

• Design and build Generative AI use cases with customers, translating business needs into AI solution concepts.
• Design AI behavior, interaction patterns, prompting strategies, context handling, and guardrails.
• Work hands-on with Azure OpenAI, Snowflake Cortex, Databricks, and proprietary AI agent tooling.
• Collaborate with software engineers and Machine Learning and Data Science specialists during implementation.
• Facilitate customer workshops and design sessions to frame ambiguous business problems as AI-suitable use cases.
• Ensure solutions are usable, responsible, and aligned with enterprise requirements.

Requirements

• Background in analytics, data, or software development, with an ability to learn in a fast-evolving field.
• Understanding of Generative AI patterns including RAG, AI agents, copilots, and tool usage.
• Ability to design and evaluate prompting strategies, context handling, and guardrails.
• Understanding of human-centered design, user interaction, and adoption challenges.
• Comfort working with technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Lithuanian citizenship or a valid Lithuanian work permit required.
