Tax Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Coordinate Malaysia corporate income tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing compliance with external advisors.
• Support current and deferred Malaysia tax provisions for quarterly group reporting.
• Assist with Malaysia tax authority audits, queries, and regulatory requests.
• Track eligibility, compliance, renewals, and renegotiations for Malaysia tax incentives.
• Support intercompany pricing policies, business initiative tax analyses, and Asia Pacific tax and accounting activities.
• Prepare U.S. tax returns and calculations, including Forms 5471 and 8858, and support tax data automation.

Requirements

• Recognized degree in accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, MIA, CTIM, or equivalent is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant Asia tax experience, preferably combining public accounting and multinational in-house tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and financial analytical skills.
• Fluent English required.
