What you will do

  • Partner with Manufacturing Quality Engineering, Fab Operations, business lines, and support organizations on continuous improvement solutions.
  • Work on engineering and analytical problem-solving projects in a high-volume semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment.
  • Apply a Six Sigma structured problem-solving approach to optimize quality solutions.
  • Participate in fab-to-fab standardization activities and improvements involving local external manufacturing sites.
  • Contribute to machine learning and AI projects related to quality improvements.
  • Own the research, analysis, and presentation of one high-business-impact project to organizational leadership.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or computer science.
  • Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the summer internship; candidates graduating before July 2027 should apply to entry-level full-time roles.
  • Strong data analysis, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Strong programming skills in R or Python are desired.
  • Coursework in advanced statistics and data science is desired.
  • Ability to learn new skills and thrive in a multicultural environment.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with integrated circuit manufacturing or design.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
