Salary: USD 55.00–63.25 per hour in California

What you will do

• Investigate emerging research areas and translate conceptual ideas into working prototypes or proofs of concept.
• Design research methodologies, collect data, and perform analysis.
• Develop algorithms and models using deep learning, natural language processing, and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product managers to align research with product direction.
• Present research progress, findings, and technical insights to stakeholders.
• Document research procedures and outcomes and prepare reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong academic background, analytical and critical thinking skills, and a research-oriented problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools, including Python, R, or specialized software and equipment.
• Experience with data analysis tools, statistical analysis software, or related methodologies.
• Ability to manage time and work to strict deadlines in a collaborative environment.
• Work primarily onsite from an HPE office.
