Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and coach continuous improvement initiatives using the hirify.global Manufacturing System and Lean principles across the facility value stream.
• Develop and implement solutions for complex operational and process issues.
• Create, document, and implement standard work to support continuous improvement.
• Mentor facility team members and peers in the use of Lean tools and methods.
• Support corporate continuous improvement programs, facility strategic initiatives, and best-practice sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or Supply Chain.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience implementing Lean principles.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or distribution facility and regularly stand and walk.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and perform bending, reaching, and other physical duties.
• Ability to perform frequent computer-based work requiring sitting, close vision, and focus adjustment.

Nice to have

• Lean, Operations, or Supply Chain certifications.
• Experience with flow principles, Kanban, and Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
• Project leadership experience with diverse team skills.
• Experience using KPIs to drive reliable improvements and standard work.
