What you will do
- Lead and coach continuous improvement initiatives using the Manufacturing System and Lean principles across the facility value stream.
- Develop and implement solutions for complex operational and process issues.
- Create, document, and implement standard work to support continuous improvement.
- Mentor facility team members and peers in the use of Lean tools and methods.
- Support corporate continuous improvement programs, facility strategic initiatives, and best-practice sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or Supply Chain.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience implementing Lean principles.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or distribution facility and regularly stand and walk.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and perform bending, reaching, and other physical duties.
- Ability to perform frequent computer-based work requiring sitting, close vision, and focus adjustment.
Nice to have
- Lean, Operations, or Supply Chain certifications.
- Experience with flow principles, Kanban, and Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
- Project leadership experience with diverse team skills.
- Experience using KPIs to drive reliable improvements and standard work.
