Account Payable Vendor Master Assistant Manager (Vendor Master Data)

Location: Hybrid in Tlalnepantla de Baz, Mexico — 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Vendor Master team while managing performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, vendor record maintenance, and master data accuracy.
• Govern banking information, tax details, legal entity data, supplier classifications, and payment integrity controls.
• Ensure compliance with policies, audit requirements, internal controls, and fraud-prevention standards.
• Partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
• Drive process improvement, automation, ERP optimization, trend analysis, and escalation resolution across P2P.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Vendor Master Data Management, Procure-to-Pay, Shared Services, or related functions.
• At least 4 years of people leadership experience, including coaching, talent development, and performance management.
• Experience supporting U.S. and/or Canadian operations in a Shared Services or Global Business Services environment.
• Expertise in vendor master data governance, supplier onboarding, compliance, internal controls, supplier risk management, and fraud prevention.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar ERP systems; advanced Excel, analysis, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance and supplier onboarding tools.
• Experience leading automation, transformation, or operational excellence initiatives.
