Director, Financial Reporting & FP&A

Location: Irvine, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $260,000–$320,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead global financial consolidation and prepare consolidated financial statements across multiple entities.
• Manage subsidiary reporting packages, closing adjustments, intercompany eliminations, and statutory disclosures.
• Coordinate the US headquarters annual budget and periodic forecasting process.
• Analyze gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, spending trends, and financial anomalies.
• Provide early warnings and actionable recommendations to the CFO, CEO, and business unit leaders.
• Develop corrective action plans, assign owners and timelines, and track financial impact and resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and CPA certification; a master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, audit, or finance leadership.
• Experience leading global consolidations and preparing consolidated financial statements for multinational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS, intercompany accounting, eliminations, transfer pricing, and multi-entity close processes.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, profitability analysis, external audits, and financial performance management.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and financial consolidation/reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting tax planning, transfer-pricing analysis, intercompany transactions, and business analytics.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
