Director, FP&A - Corporate Finance

Location: Onsite in Carlsbad, California, USA

Salary: USD 175,000–215,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning processes.
• Own the consolidated financial forecast, including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reporting and analyze variances, expenses, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop financial models, tools, dashboards, and reporting enhancements with Data & Analytics partners.
• Support board materials and quarterly business reviews by connecting financial results with business performance.
• Lead the Corporate FP&A team and foster a high-performing environment and professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
• Advanced analytical and Excel skills, with experience extracting data from various systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, critical-thinking, collaboration, and team-management skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations and compliance, with a detail-oriented approach to accuracy.

Nice to have

• CPA or MBA.
• Experience in consumer goods, inventory-related businesses, or the apparel industry.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, EPM tools, Shopify, Microsoft Office, and BI tools.
