Mid-Level Software Engineer – C#

hirify.global provides B2B marketplace and SaaS platforms for live event ticket inventory, covering distribution, sales, and fulfillment for artists, promoters, teams, venues, and resellers.

What you will do

• Build and maintain C# and .NET services with ASP.NET Core from design through production.
• Develop REST APIs, marketplace features, and ticketing platform capabilities.
• Write automated tests with xUnit and support test-driven development.
• Debug production issues using logs, metrics, and Datadog dashboards.
• Develop efficient Entity Framework Core queries and migrations for relational databases.
• Build and monitor background jobs and messaging workflows with RabbitMQ or Kafka, while participating in code reviews.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience building production software, including 1–2 years with C# and .NET.
• Experience building REST APIs with ASP.NET Core.
• Solid knowledge of xUnit or NUnit and test-driven development.
• Working knowledge of Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and relational databases.
• Genuine day-to-day experience using AI tooling such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to work in an async-first, distributed engineering environment and communicate through written documentation and collaboration tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other messaging systems.
• Familiarity with Redis or Azure services.
• Interest in ticketing, marketplaces, or high-transaction consumer platforms.
