GTM Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; on-site

What you will do

• Build, deploy, and operate production AI agents and automated workflows for Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and other go-to-market functions.
• Monitor production health across agent graphs, identify failures and performance issues, and triage incoming issues.
• Run evaluation suites, investigate failures, and convert production bugs into regression tests.
• Track model and workflow cost, latency, usage, and adoption, recommending improvements to model selection, reasoning effort, and caching.
• Build business metrics covering reply rates, meetings booked, hours reclaimed, and ROI.
• Develop monitoring and alerting in LangSmith and document how LangChain operates its own agents.

Requirements

• Strong production Python and SQL skills, with comfort working in traces, logs, and warehouse tables.
• Experience running LLM applications, including tracing, evaluations, prompts, and caching.
• SRE or production operations instincts, including percentiles, SLOs, and distinguishing signal from noise.
• Ability to validate metrics before publishing them and communicate findings clearly in writing.
• High agency and initiative in identifying and solving missing operational problems.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA.

• Experience with LangGraph or LangSmith.
• Experience building an evaluation suite from scratch.
• BigQuery or dbt experience.
• DevRel-adjacent writing experience.
• Empathy for sales and go-to-market users.
