Global Supply Manager, Electronics & PCBA

Location: San Francisco, California, United States. International travel to supplier and contract manufacturer sites may be required for 10–25% of the time.

Salary: $112,500–$147,500 USD annually, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Develop sourcing strategies for PCBAs, custom transformers, interconnects, and related electronics.
• Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate commercial and technical terms, and establish MSAs, SOWs, and pricing agreements.
• Partner with engineering and operations to ensure supplier readiness for new product introduction and mass production.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, cost, and delivery escalations.
• Drive BOM cost optimization, inventory readiness, dual sourcing, localization, and manufacturing footprint decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or an equivalent technical background.
• 4–6 years of sourcing or global supply management experience.
• Strong understanding of PCBA cost drivers, contract manufacturing dynamics, and commodity strategy.
• Experience negotiating commercial and technical terms with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment and use data to make decisions.
• Willingness to travel internationally to supplier and contract manufacturer sites 10–25% of the time.

• MBA.
• Experience in electric vehicles, energy, or high-voltage electronics.
