Material Planner – Spare Parts & Manufacturing Supplies (Manufacturing)

Location: San Jose, California, United States — onsite at the San Jose Great Oaks Headquarters

Salary: $87,600–$116,800 per year

What you will do

• Plan and maintain inventory levels for spare parts and manufacturing supplies supporting manufacturing and maintenance operations.
• Manage and optimize min/max levels, safety stock, lead times, and other planning parameters in Oracle Cloud.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions, coordinate deliveries, and follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead the Engineering Change Notice process for part number creation, updates, and end-of-life management.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement on part setup, pricing, sourcing, and supplier issues.
• Analyze consumption data, support audits, and implement improvements to planning accuracy and process efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in material planning, production planning, or inventory management in a manufacturing or maintenance support environment.
• Proficiency with Oracle Cloud or an equivalent ERP system.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, including min/max planning, safety stock, and lead time management.
• Experience with Engineering Change Notices or similar change-control processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills.
