Engineering Manager (C#/.NET)

What you will do

• Lead and develop engineering teams through coaching, feedback, performance management, hiring, onboarding, and retention.
• Own reliable software delivery through realistic planning, prioritisation, transparency, and early risk communication.
• Manage operational development processes, including refinement, sprint planning, estimations, and dependency coordination.
• Work with Product Management, Tech Leads, Architecture, and other teams to clarify requirements and support solution design.
• Make operational decisions, remove impediments, and address bottlenecks, overload, and changing priorities.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows while critically evaluating their output.

Requirements

• Experience leading or coordinating development teams as a Team Lead, Engineering Manager, or in a comparable role.
• Several years of software development experience with solid technical understanding.
• Hands-on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers, Tech Leads, and stakeholders and manage priorities under real constraints.
• Structured communication skills and a pragmatic approach to change and uncertainty.
• Good German language skills required.
