Agent Strategist (AI)

Salary: £150,000–£245,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the agent development lifecycle from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, launch, and continuous production iteration.
• Advise enterprise executives on AI strategy and translate complex business problems into effective customer-facing agents.
• Partner with customer working teams, run workshops, troubleshoot agents, and drive builds toward launch.
• Build and deploy agents for retention, commerce, device troubleshooting, recommendations, and regulated financial-services interactions.
• Define evaluation frameworks and quality standards, using metrics to improve agent outcomes.
• Surface customer needs and collaborate with research and platform teams on new agent architectures and self-service capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production.
• Hands-on experience with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Strong customer focus, communication, strategic problem-solving, technical aptitude, and ownership of complex projects.
• Ability to read API documentation, understand data models and system architecture, and discuss engineering trade-offs.
• Experience as a founder, founding team member, or operator.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, equivalent practical experience, and/or an MBA.
