D&A - Senior Software Engineer GenAI

What you will do

• Design, develop, and scale Python backend services, distributed systems, microservices, and AI-driven workflows.
• Integrate large language models using AWS Bedrock and other AWS services.
• Design event-driven architectures and implement REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs.
• Optimize databases, search capabilities, caching strategies, and application performance.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams while providing technical leadership and mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Python development skills, preferably with FastAPI or Django.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Experience building AI-powered applications or integrating LLMs; AWS Bedrock experience is preferred.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, query optimization, messaging technologies, and distributed caching with Redis.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, cloud-native development, and monitoring or observability tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector search, OpenSearch, or graph databases such as Neo4j or Neptune.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular.
• Experience in enterprise or highly regulated environments.
