Backend Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end backend services and workflows for the consumption-based billing platform, from requirements gathering through deployment and monitoring.
• Improve the quality and resilience of existing services by identifying weaknesses and implementing improvements.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and early-stage technical design.
• Integrate AI flows and solutions into backend systems and team workflows.
• Collaborate with R&D, Finance, Product, Business, and other development teams.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to technology evaluation and continuous learning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong experience with Node.js, Go, or Python.
• Practical understanding of large-scale systems architecture and resilient services using Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL databases, public cloud environments, managed AWS services, CLI, and Docker.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with some exposure to React and frontend development.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, with strong ownership, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• At least one year of experience with AI concepts and tools, including integrating AI workflows into backend systems.
