Express Clinic - LPN

Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota, United States; onsite clinical work

Salary: $27–40 per hour

What you will do

• Provide general nursing care and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Monitor, record, and report patient conditions and reactions to treatments.
• Screen patients, collect specimens, perform EKG and oximetry readings, and obtain peripheral blood samples.
• Maintain patient files, clinical records, prescriptions, and patient communications.
• Initiate IV fluids and therapeutic medications in accordance with the state nurse practice act.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• At least three years of practical nursing experience.
• Current LPN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current BCLS certification required within three months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, handle and lift patients, and occasionally carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
