Research Nurse Supervisor (Oncology)

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. Traditional office environment with clinical duties in an oncology/hematology clinic.

Salary: $95,000–$128,000 annually.

What you will do

• Supervise clinical research staff in accordance with US Oncology Research SOPs and ICH GCP guidelines.
• Coordinate research activities with affected practice departments, physicians, sponsors, and non-USOR sites.
• Coach and develop staff, participate in hiring and performance management, and enforce company policies.
• Develop research accountability standards, metrics, reports, and improvement plans.
• Support study selection, research budgets, financial objectives, and patient accrual targets.
• Promote the research program to the practice, community, and referring physicians when needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a clinical or scientific discipline and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• At least five years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
• Current registered nurse licensure if required in the state of practice.
• Current BCLS or ACLS certification for nurses.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and computer skills, including Windows and Excel.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing assessment, clinical medicine, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology, hematology, oncology, and clinical trials.

Nice to have

• Supervisory experience.
• Clinical research experience.
• SoCRA or ARCP certification.
• Knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
