Senior Clinic Registered Nurse (Oncology)

Location: Ft Worth, Texas, United States; onsite clinic position

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care for oncology patients in accordance with clinical standards and specialty regulations.
• Assess patient health status, medical history, and patient and family needs.
• Plan, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care.
• Manage medication refill requests, triage calls, and document information in patient charts.
• Schedule consultations, diagnostic tests, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
• Coordinate communication with families and interdisciplinary teams and support LPNs, LVNs, and medical assistants.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience; entry, mid, and senior-level candidates may be considered.
• Current RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work in an oncology/hematology clinic environment involving standing, walking, patient handling, and potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, radiation, and medical preparations.
