PRN Float Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) (Oncology)

Location: Baytown, Texas and Pasadena, Texas; Monday–Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of oncology patient care.
• Assess patient and family needs and provide education and instructional materials.
• Prepare and administer oncology therapies, medications, and blood products under physician supervision.
• Assess laboratory results, calculate doses, and support treatment modifications and symptom management.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, maintain central lines, and document care accurately.
• Apply reimbursement procedures and charge-capture practices.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license and current registration in the state of practice are required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Level I: 0–3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience strongly preferred.
• Level II: at least 3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience strongly preferred.
• Senior level: at least 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in oncology; oncology certification preferred.
