Focus on compounding under supervision, maintaining temperature and protocol logs, and ensuring accurate documentation across the medication-use process.
Location: Dallas, Texas, United States. Onsite work at the Dallas Sammons location, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; no weekends or major holidays.

What you will do
- Prepare medication orders and compound or admix medications under the supervision of a pharmacist or physician.
- Verify order completeness, patient information, physician authorization, dosage volumes, and metric-to-apothecary conversions.
- Maintain controlled-substance records and dispose of chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy IV materials according to applicable requirements.
- Clean hoods and admixture areas, monitor drug expiration dates, and complete quality assurance activities.
- Maintain temperature, protocol, patient assistance, inventory, lot-number, and expiration-date records.
- Support labeling, data entry, pre-billing review, medication and supply ordering, and pharmacy-area maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Level 1: entry level to three years of pharmacy experience.
- Level 2: three to five years of pharmacy experience with IV skills.
- Senior level: five to seven years of pharmacy experience with IV skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Dallas, Texas, perform extended periods of sitting or standing, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work with medicinal preparations and chemotherapeutic agents while following state, federal, OSHA, and USP requirements.
Nice to have
- IV certification.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate or fulfillment of State Pharmacy Board requirements.
- Oncology experience or extensive IV preparation experience.
- Completion of an ASCP-accredited or community-college pharmacy program.
