Investigational Drug Services (IDS) Pharmacist (Oncology)

What you will do

• Review clinical trial protocols, amendments, and study documentation, and attend site initiation visits.
• Verify dosing accuracy and oversee preparation and compounding of investigational products in compliance with USP 797 and USP 800.
• Manage investigational product inventory, receipt, returns, accountability, and monitoring visit documentation in Vestigo.
• Supervise IDS technicians, maintain SOP compliance, support audits, and contribute to staff training and performance evaluations.
• Orient new staff, maintain certifications and licenses, and manage protocol documentation and staff credentials in eDOCs and Vestigo.

Requirements

• Current pharmacy license in Texas or Virginia required.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, GMP, USP 797, USP 800, and clinical trial regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform duties requiring manual dexterity and extended periods of sitting or standing.

Nice to have

• Pharmacy preceptor license.
• IV certification.
• Chemotherapy certification.
