Manufacturing Associate, NGS TE Production

Location: South San Francisco, California, USA; onsite laboratory role

Salary: $21–$25 USD per hour, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manufacture custom oligonucleotide and gene-based products in a high-throughput manufacturing laboratory.
• Operate robotic laboratory systems and equipment including bioanalyzers, centrifuges, sealers, thermocyclers, spectrometers, HPLCs, and next-generation sequencing systems.
• Perform PCR, DNA quantitation and handling, DNA purification, packaging, and related molecular biology workflows.
• Complete batch records, databases, and other production documentation, including problems and deviations.
• Update and write work instructions while troubleshooting deviations and supporting continuous improvement.
• Complete assigned tasks safely and on schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to follow established SOPs and maintain accurate manufacturing batch records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
• Good computer skills, including experience with Excel, Word, Jira, Confluence, or similar web-based programs.
• Ability to work independently and safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible shifts outside regular hours, including the specified day and night shift schedules.
