mRNA Manufacturing Intern (Full Time) (mRNA)

Location: Onsite in Redmond, Washington, United States; full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Salary: $22–$24 per hour

What you will do

• Process DNA through PCR, digestion, and purification to prepare templates for in-vitro transcription.
• Perform enzymatic reactions to produce and process mRNA.
• Purify mRNA using HPLC, spin columns, and related technologies.
• Conduct in-process and final product quality checks using gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, RT-PCR, cell expression, HPLC, and dot blot.
• Follow validated production SOPs and document processes and materials for each product.
• Track inventory and order production materials internally and externally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience with PCR, HPLC, or enzymatic reactions is desired.
• Ability to work as part of a small cross-disciplinary team on short-term and long-term goals.
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Ability to communicate politely and concisely with peers and managers.
• Availability for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week onsite schedule is required.
