Shift Team Manager (Wood Manufacturing)

Location: Dalian, China; onsite production role

What you will do

• Lead daily shift operations while meeting production, quality, and volume targets.
• Promote a safety-first culture, run daily safety meetings, enforce safety rules and LOTO procedures, and monitor emergency equipment.
• Implement hirify.global production standards, including WES, SOS, WI, 5S, Go/No Go, and CTQ controls.
• Track M3 production data, quality deviations, mistakes, scrap, waste, raw materials, and work-in-progress inventory.
• Drive Kaizen and other continuous improvement activities, standardize solutions, and support stable production processes.
• Lead performance management, training, autonomous-team development, employee engagement activities, and labor relations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of wood manufacturing or experience in a similar industry.
• Management experience in a manufacturing company.
• Experience and knowledge in leading and managing teams.
• Ability to operate equipment, adjust dimensions, perform basic maintenance, and supervise preventive inspections.
• Middle school education or above.
• Availability to work onsite in Dalian, China.
