Director, Pricing (Manufacturing)

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri; corporate office setting. Typical Monday–Friday schedule with limited travel.

What you will do

• Lead pricing recommendations for new business, contract renewals, major quotations, and significant commercial changes.
• Develop customer, product, market, technology, and asset-based pricing strategies to improve profitability, price realization, contribution margin, and returns.
• Oversee annual price changes, resin-index adjustments, surcharges, rebates, allowances, and other contractual pricing mechanisms.
• Establish pricing policies, approval authorities, exception procedures, controls, and auditable documentation.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Legal, suppliers, distributors, and customers to resolve pricing issues and support commercial decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the pricing team while presenting financially grounded recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least seven years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, FP&A, or a related discipline, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience evaluating complex customer, product, or contract economics.
• Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear business recommendations.
• Experience leading teams or major cross-functional initiatives, with a record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Deep understanding of pricing methodologies and strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
