What you will do
- Own and support hiring for strategic technical roles across AI and machine learning, infrastructure and compute, software engineering, product, and leadership.
- Partner directly with founders and senior leaders to understand hiring needs and evolving priorities.
- Build long-term relationships with engineers, founders, operators, and technical leaders across the UK technology ecosystem.
- Identify exceptional passive candidates through creative sourcing, meetups, conferences, and industry events.
- Develop credible conversations with technical candidates about AI inference, GPUs, distributed systems, ML infrastructure, data centres, and the wider AI ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Partnering, executive search, or a similar role.
- Strong experience recruiting technical profiles in the UK and a good understanding of the UK technology ecosystem.
- Experience recruiting in AI, machine learning, infrastructure, cloud, developer tools, or another highly technical environment.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior engineers, technical leaders, and founders.
- Strong network-building skills, autonomy, ownership, and comfort working in a fast-moving startup.
- Willingness to support broader People topics beyond recruitment when needed.
Nice to have
- Existing network within the AI and machine learning ecosystem.
- Experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup.
- Exposure to UK People Operations, employment, or benefits topics.
- Experience recruiting within the ML/AI space.
