Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management Lead (Storage & Compute Commodities)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end sourcing strategy for NAND/SSD commodities and expand it to adjacent storage and compute categories.
• Lead negotiations covering pricing, contracts, commercial terms, and supply commitments.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and manage performance across cost, quality, delivery, and technology alignment.
• Develop supplier diversification, risk mitigation, and total-cost-of-ownership strategies.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with engineering, finance, and operations.
• Analyze markets, model costs, benchmark quotations, manage supply escalations, and report supplier performance and risk metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8–12+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Direct experience managing NAND/SSD commodities and understanding their technology fundamentals and supplier landscape.
• Proven experience negotiating commercial contracts, pricing agreements, and supply terms.
• Strong analytical, cost modeling, quotation analysis, and market analysis skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and engage engineering teams on technical roadmaps.

Nice to have

• MBA or master’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business field.
• Experience sourcing data-center-scale SSD, NAND, DRAM, CPU, or GPU commodities.
• Experience with sourcing processes, material shortage management, and multiple commodity categories.
