Senior Manager-Technology Delivery

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Base salary: $131,700–$181,000 per year, with potential bonus, commissions, and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead large teams of employees, vendors, and contractors delivering hardware, software, and network technology solutions.
• Oversee technical design, configuration, validation, testing, implementation, documentation, and production release activities.
• Manage project execution, service-level commitments, priorities, delegations, and technical handoffs.
• Drive standardized build, implementation, support, SDLC, and service management processes.
• Troubleshoot development and test environment issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Track department performance metrics, report status to technology leadership, and contribute to strategic and financial planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience working with relevant enterprise technologies in hands-on and leadership roles.
• 3–5+ years of project management experience with a record of delivering projects and driving execution.
• Strong technical reasoning, troubleshooting, influencing, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage technical teams, vendors, priorities, performance, and compliance with established processes.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of direct people-management experience, including performance management.
• Experience in a multi-vendor or outsourced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to negotiate and persuade others in complex situations.
