Senior Fullstack Engineer (Vue/PHP)

Location: Denver, Colorado, US; West Des Moines, Iowa, US; or remote within the US.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus a 10% annual bonus at target.

What you will do

• Build and ship features for candidate search and matching, recruiter workflows, job posting, messaging, and reporting.
• Develop across Vue frontend applications, Laravel/PHP backends, REST APIs, background workers, and MySQL data layers.
• Own features end to end, from scoping with product through implementation, testing, and CI/CD deployment.
• Contribute to AWS infrastructure, code reviews, technical decisions, code quality, and technical-debt reduction.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, product design, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor peers and help improve engineering practices and standards.

Requirements

• Senior-level full-stack software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with strict TypeScript and Vue.js or an equivalent reactive frontend framework.
• Hands-on experience with Laravel, PHP 8, REST API development, relational databases, migrations, and schema management.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SES, and CloudFront.
• Proficiency with end-to-end, integration, and unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, OAuth, SSO, and secure programming practices.

Nice to have

• Recruitment, HR, or ATS domain experience.
• Real-time features, WebSockets, complex forms, and dialog or modal UI patterns.
• Elasticsearch or OpenSearch experience.
• Large-dataset rendering, observability, analytics, and AI-assisted software development experience.
