Emerging Assistant General Manager II

Salary: $104,000–$156,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock or regional pay adjustments.

What you will do

• Build relationships with community organizations and internal stakeholders across finance, merchandising, transportation, and other functions.
• Develop operational leadership in a complex facility, including end-to-end supply chain understanding, continuous improvement, and WPS execution.
• Manage budgets, assets, corporate reports, business plans, staffing forecasts, workload, and performance results.
• Supervise and develop associates, managers, and leaders through coaching, feedback, training, hiring, and promotion activities.
• Maintain quality, safety, regulatory, and supply chain compliance while identifying opportunities to improve facility performance.
• Investigate and resolve associate, customer, and supplier issues using sound judgment and data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, management, finance, production, operations, or a related field, plus qualifying senior management experience; or an equivalent Walmart Logistics Operations Manager background.
• At least 2 years of senior management experience in an operations, distribution, or logistics environment, or 4 years of senior management experience in operations, distribution, logistics, or retail.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion decisions.
• Must work onsite at the Sealy, Texas facility.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and managing budgets, managing P&L, forecasting manpower, monitoring regulatory compliance, and analyzing financial or operational data.
• Senior-level experience managing multiple warehouse or logistics functions such as receiving, shipping, quality assurance, or order filling.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field combined with 3 years of senior management experience.
