Data Delivery Lead (Robotics/AI)

Location: Hybrid in Toronto or New York

Salary: CA$140K–CA$180K total wage range, including base salary and applicable on-target incentives.

What you will do

• Pull final delivery cuts from document databases, columnar databases, and file stores.
• Format datasets to customer schemas and generate manifests, indexes, catalogs, and delivery packages.
• Stage and hand off reproducible deliveries to customer buckets and cloud storage.
• Design and execute ship-gate validation, including coverage statistics, stratified sample audits, schema checks, and quality-drift detection.
• Translate customer specifications into concrete queries, quality gates, and operational requirements for capture, labeling, computer vision, and engineering teams.
• Track SLAs, remove assembly-to-ship bottlenecks, and own delivery communication with internal teams and customers.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similarly data-heavy role.
• Fluent SQL and the ability to query and reshape large, imperfect datasets independently.
• Working proficiency with a scripting language; Python is preferred for data manipulation, validation, and automation.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, schemas, and data-quality concepts.
• Experience owning a data workflow or deliverable end-to-end.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in fast-paced startups or high-growth environments.
• Exposure to ML or AI training data, data labeling, or dataset delivery.
• Experience with NoSQL, document stores, or columnar analytics databases such as ClickHouse, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Experience building QA, validation, or data-quality tooling.
• Strong judgment when balancing delivery speed, quality, and cost.
